Pacific Threadfin salmon

The culture of Pacific Threadfin has not previously been attempted in American Samoa. The company, Tausala Ole Moana, will begin construction in August and is anticipating a production of 1,800 pounds of threadfin per month. The success of this venture will rely heavily on technical support provided by Sea Grant. The polyculture of giant clams and pacific threadfin is currently under consideration.
