A prawn farm is using the Recirculating Aquaculture System to improve production of marine shrimp (Pennaeus vannamei). Most importantly CREES has begun the production of post larvae of prawns, which will be used to supply local farmers for grow out. This will eliminate the need for the importation of post larvae prawns from other areas
